San Antonio Jefferson chasing first title since 1949
Program's only championship came 75 years ago with a dominant City final win.
San Antonio Jefferson won its lone UIL title in 1949, when the team defeated Dallas Sunset 31-13 in the City championship game. That remains the program's only state crown in its history.
The Jeffersonians will look to end the lengthy drought this season as they prepare for district play.
