Friday Night Picks is an independent, unofficial fan site and app for Texas high school football. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the UIL, any school district, or any school. Team names, schedules and results are factual information used for identification.
Projections and win probabilities are generated by our own model for fun. They are not betting advice, and nothing here is an inducement to gamble.
The site is free. In chat and player nominations: no hate, no harassment, and nothing negative aimed at a named student. Content that breaks this is removed, and reported messages hide automatically. Score reports are crowd-checked, and deliberately false reporting may lead to your reports being ignored.
We work from public data and correct errors when we find them or you tell us. Schedules change, games move, and kickoff times vary; check with the school before driving anywhere. The address shown is the school, which is not always the stadium.
Championship history is compiled from University Interscholastic League public records. School colours, mascots and addresses draw on Wikipedia, available under CC BY-SA 4.0. Ratings data comes from publicly available pages.
