Rotan Yellowhammers Chase First Title Since 1962
Rotan's lone state championship came 62 years ago with a dominant 39-6 victory over Ingleside.
The Rotan Yellowhammers won their only state title in 1962, when they beat Ingleside 39-6 in the 1A championship game. That's six decades without another trip to the top.
This season, Rotan has a chance to end the drought. The program's championship pedigree is real, even if it's been a long time between celebrations.
