Nederland Chasing First Title Since 1957
The Bulldogs haven't won a state championship in 66 years.
Nederland's last trip to the mountaintop came in 1957, when the Bulldogs claimed the 3A state title with a 20-7 victory over Sweetwater. That remains the program's only state championship.
As the Bulldogs prepare for the new season, that drought looms large. Nederland will be hunting for the first title in nearly seven decades.
