Dumas Chasing History
The Demons won back-to-back titles in 1961 and 1962, with their last crown coming 62 years ago.
Dumas won consecutive 3A state championships in 1961 and 1962, the program's only two titles. The Demons capped that run with a 14-3 victory over Pharr-San Juan-Alamo in the 1962 final.
No Dumas team has reached that peak since. The Demons enter this season looking to build toward a return to championship contention.
