Denver City's 1960 State Title Still Stands
The Mustangs' only championship came 64 years ago with a narrow win over Bellville.
Denver City won its lone state title in 1960, capturing the 2A crown with a 26-21 victory over Bellville. That championship remains the program's only UIL title on record.
It's been more than six decades since the Mustangs hoisted hardware. The program will look to add to that legacy this season.
