Deer Park's Glory Days: Back-to-Back Titles in 1954-55
The Roebucks won consecutive state championships nearly 70 years ago.
Deer Park claimed consecutive 1A state titles in 1954 and 1955, capping the latter run with a 7-0 shutout of Stinnett. Those back-to-back championships remain the program's only state crowns according to UIL records.
The Roebucks haven't returned to the state final since that 1955 season. For context on where the program stands heading into this year, that's the historical benchmark.
